Race Night!

It is not just on the water that the club goes racing. 48 racers enjoyed a superb evening of food and racing of the horsey kind! The evening was run by Julie Dolman, with tic-tac man Dan Thomas running the racing, with special thanks to Ron and Dot who provided their usual support behind the scenes. Julie Dolman takes up the story:

What a fantastic evening we had at our Fish & Chips and Race Night! It was great fun from start to finish, a perfect opportunity to meet new members and partners.Once again, the takeaway delivered excellent food and service, keeping everyone well-fed and happy. 

A special moment of the evening was celebrating Simons birthday. He was delighted to share his cake with everyone and although his hearing might not be what it once was, he certainly didnt miss the cheeky comment about the 6 in his 60th badge being upside down!

The clubhouse was full of great energy and laughter. Huge thanks to everyone who stayed behind to help with the clear-up—it really showed the strong spirit of teamwork that makes our club so special.
